Pengda's composite press is a special equipment for low pressure RTM process. The RTM process is becoming increasingly important in the growing lightweight engineering sector, not only in the aerospace industry and automotive, where carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) and other fiber composites are becoming more widely used.   • Principle of RTM process:
    The main principle of RTM process (Resin Transfer Molding) is to lay glass fiber reinforced material in a closed mold cavity, inject resin solution into the mold cavity through pressure, fully saturate the fiber reinforced material with resin, and then cure under certain conditions, finally demolding and forming the product.
  • RTM process steps:
    • 1.Mold preparation: Place the pre designed and cut reinforcement material into the closed mold
    • 2.Resin injection: Inject low viscosity resin solution into the mold cavity, and the resin will fully penetrate the fiber-reinforced material under pressure
    • 3.Curing and demolding: Vacuum curing to obtain composite material products.
  • Heating Control System:
    • Heating to 200 ° C/392℉
    • Heating form optional: oil heating, electric heating
    • Normally direct heating the tool
    • Heating rate: 1-3℃/ min
  • Moving tables (Option):
    Taking into account the safety of loading and unloading large molds, a moving table can be selected to achieve left and right shuttle style movement, which is convenient for the operator to load the molds.
