  • BMC Molding Process
    BMC is a kind of process in which a certain amount of molding plastics (pellets) is added to the preheated mold, and the BMC material is pressed and heated by the hydraulic molding press after curing and forming.
    Specific process:
    Weighing → feeding → mold closing → pressing → curing (fully cured at the set pressure and temperature for a certain time) → open the mold to take out the product → burrs and other grinding → finished products.
  • BMC pressing process conditions
    • Molding pressure: 3.5-7MPa for ordinary products, 14MPa for products with high surface requirements.
    • Molding temperature: generally around 145±5℃, the fixed mold temperature can be reduced by 5-15℃ in order to release the mold.
    • Closing speed: 50 seconds of closing is best.
    • Curing time:

  • BMC molding hydraulic press features
    • Heating function:
    • Equipped with return cylinder to achieve micro mold opening, exhaust function, so that SMC fully integrated, strength to meet the performance requirements:
    • Hydrualic auxiliary function can realize tool action and products ejection.
    • Blowing system and vacuum system especially for the production of precision BMC products. (Option)
    • A small tool change car can easily load and unload heavier tool if need. (Option)
